# List user organizations

> Retrieve all organizations where the authenticated user has membership.

**Organization Membership Data**:
- Organization basic information (ID, name, description)
- User's role within each organization (Owner, Manager, Collector, Viewer)
- Membership status and join date
- Access permissions and capabilities per organization
- Current active organization indicator

**Use Cases**:
- Organization switcher UI components
- Access control and permission validation
- User dashboard showing all available organizations
- API integrations requiring multi-org context

**Multi-tenant Context**:
Users can be members of multiple organizations with different roles in each. This endpoint helps users navigate between their organizational contexts and understand their permissions in each environment.
