# Update activity input

> Update a specific activity's input data and recalculate its values:

**Parameters**:
- `activityId`: Unique identifier of the activity to update
- `input`: Input fields to merge into the activity's existing input data

This endpoint applies a partial update: provided input fields overwrite matching existing fields, while omitted fields are preserved. The system recalculates the activity value and metadata after the input update.
